Writing is in our blood. 

Who are we? What do we do? Why should you choose us? Those are all great questions and we'll get to the answers later but first, a little background story that starts at a place called Walden Pond.

If one were to drive by the glorified puddle in Concord, Massachusetts, U.S.A, odds are you'd probably miss it. At first glance, Walden Pond is nothing spectacular. A mere blip on the side of the road. However, historical records prove otherwise.

In the mid 19th century, a man by the name of Henry David Thoreau spent two years, two months, and two days living in a small shack in the woods around Walden pond.  He lived off the land, enjoyed the solitude, and journaled his daily thoughts. The land was owned by a friend and mentor Ralph Waldo Emerson. One may recognize these two names as pioneers in the transcendentalism movement of that time. 

It was a unique movement centered around the idea that people are truly at their best when they are independent, self-reliant, and have strong beliefs in nature. Thoreau's book "Walden" and Emerson's "Nature" were two of the most popular works to come out of this philosophical revolution and Concord, MA was at the core of it all. 

Born just a few short miles from Walden pond was our company's founder, Anthony Cerullo. Anthony grew up in Lexington with nature, independence, and revolution in his blood.--unbeknownst to him. Writing came naturally at a young age as he quickly discovered that "less is more" --especially in the art of writing. 

Thoreau's catalog had a profound influence on this company's philosophy as we translated his lessons into a successful content strategy that strips down "the fluff" and priortizes our client's true goals.
